“You only moved the head stones!”
As I wrote before, digging in Rome leads to all sort of discoveries.
I just received this mobile phone picture taken by my sister in front of our old house in via Marmorata, Testaccio, Rome. During some roadworks, digging under the asphalt layer, workers found some ancient burial sites.
Looks like there are three or four at the moment.
Just underneath my parking space!

Fascinating and disturbing to say the least.
